भारत की यह ऑस्कर नॉमिनेटेड फिल्म आशुतोष गोवारिकर और आमिर खान प्रोडक्शन ने बनाई थी यह फिल्म लगान उस वक्त की ब्लॉकबस्टर फिल्म थी आपको जानकर हैरानी होगी कि शाहरुख खान ने यह पिक्चर भी रिजेक्ट कर दी थी । डायरेक्टर की पहली पसंद शाहरुख खान ही थे। उन्होंने यह फ़िल्म क्यों छोड़ी इसका राज हमें आज तक नहीं पता चला।
2. Munna Bhai MBBS.
This film was also offered to Shahrukh , he also liked the script but dropped it due to some of the reasons this was the bench mark of director Rajkumar Hirani in the film industry. This was a blockbuster film at that time and it has a series of 2 films.

This film was also offered to Srk. And he also wanted to do this but due to dates he was unable to catch it. It was a very super hit film at that time and was the 3rd blockbuster film that was rejected by him.
यह फिल्म भी पहले शाहरुख खान को ऑफर की गई थी । शाहरुख खान से करना भी चाहते थे लेकिन डेट के कारण मैं इस पिक्चर को कर नहीं पाए , यह भी एक सुपर डुपर हिट फिल्म थी और यह थर्ड ब्लॉकबस्टर मूवी शाहरुख खान ने रिजेक्ट कर दी थी ।
4. Jodhaa Akbar. जोधा अकबर।
For this film also Srk was the first choice of the director and makers , but Srk rejected this in the first talk . Might be the reason that Aashutosh and Srk's last film Swades was commercially flop. Later this film was offered to Hrithik and he did it and was a blockbuster film.
इस फिल्म के लिए भी शाहरुख खान डायरेक्टर और मेकर्स की पहली पसंद थी लेकिन शाहरुख खान फिल्म पहली बार मैं ही रिजेक्ट कर दी शायद आशुतोष और शाहरुख खान की आखिरी पिक्चर स्वदेश जोकि कमर्शियल फ्लॉप रही थी यह भी कारण हो सकता है पर बाद में यह फ़िल्म हृथिक को आफर हुई जो कि हिट भी रही ।

This film was also offered to Srk but he also rejected this film . Srk was the first choice of the makers and Rajkumar hirani but later this film was offered to Aamir khan and was a blockbuster film of the decade.
यह फिल्म भी पहले शाहरुख खान को पर की गई थी लेकिन उन्होंने यह फिल्म भी रिजेक्ट कर दी शाहरुख खान राजकुमार हीरानी और मेकर्स की पहली ख्वाहिश थे । बाद में यह फिल्म आमिर खान को ऑफर की गई जोकि पिछले दशक की सबसे सुपरहिट फिल्म थी।
